Program overview
Word by Heart gives focused attention to learning and internalizing passages of Scripture, so that the Bible is carried in memory and in the heart, not only read on a page.
What students may study
- Learning and retaining passages of Scripture
- Reading a book of the Bible as a whole
- Speaking and presenting Scripture
- Personal prayer and reflection on the text
Training purpose
To help students receive Scripture deeply, so that God's Word shapes their thinking, their character, and the way they speak of Him.

- Students who want to know Scripture more deeply
- Those preparing for teaching, preaching, or ministry among others
- Anyone who wants a season given to God's Word
Learning and community experience
Students learn together in a shared community rhythm of teaching, personal study, worship, prayer, and practical service alongside staff in Cap-Haïti.
