OUR HISTORY
YWAM Cap-Haiti has been a vision on the hearts of Philipson and Kelsea Georges for years now. Philipson, a native Haitian, and Kelsea, from Colorado, felt the call to return back to Philipson's home nation of Haiti after some years with YWAM Ships Kona, Hawaii. The original plan was to start a base in Port-Au-Prince, but on a trip to Haiti to scout out base locations, they felt a strong urge from the Lord to plant in the northern city of Cap-Haitien. In January of 2017, they felt it was finally time to take the first step towards making the dream that God had put on their hearts a reality. Leading a team from the January YWAM Ships Kona DTS, they bought a house in Cap-Haitien and YWAM Cap-Haiti began.
OUR MINISTRY
We at YWAM Cap-Haiti, are looking to facilitate the raising up of a new Jesus oriented generation. We want to see the impoverished and under-developed nation of Haiti rise to the calling that God has for it. With our Staff and Students filled with the Holy Spirit, we hope and pray that our actions and our lifestyle will pour out into our community, impacting the way that Haitians perceive Christianity. We will continue to update this as the Lord brings to us new ministries.
