Triomphe Dance Ministry

Music and dance are at the center of Haitian culture. They are instruments that attract crowds and capture people’s full attention. Dance and music are a means of joy, entertainment, and an opportunity to gather together as a community for a moment of fellowship. The Haitian people love to move to the rhythm of drums and sounds of tambourines, guitars, synthesizers, and saxophones. There is a variety of music and dance that Haitians create to celebrate festivities or religious practices. We, as lovers of music and dance, want to submerge ourselves into the Sphere of Celebration with one mission: to use the platform of dance to spread the gospel to the nation of Haiti. The goal of our ministry will be to provide a safe place where young women can experience true freedom in Christ, acquire a greater understanding of their identity, find healing from any brokenness, and rejoice in thanksgiving. We will have a selection of Haitian and African music we will be dancing and glorifying the Lord too. Our hope is to go around from church to church and dance with the young women in Cap-Haïtien. Our long-term vision is to do big events where we will invite different churches in the city to come and participate in our dances and to present it to the people in the center of downtown. We, therefore, invite you to consider joining us if you are passionate about dance and celebration.
